In the Philippines, global leaders including India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi, US President Donald Trump, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and a host of other leaders are arriving to attend the 31st ASEAN summit at Manila, said media news report.
Reportedly over 59,000 security personnel have been mobilised by authorities to ensure peaceful conduct of the summits.
According to media news report, a bilateral meeting with the Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte has been scheduled and many more meetings are being worked out. Prime Minister Modi would be visiting the International Rice Research Institute and the Mahaveer Foundation in the capital city, said media news report.
