Hindu statesman, Rajan Zed, has urged all Hindu temples and prayer centres worldwide to hold prayers for victims, their loved ones, first responders, health care workers and others touched by the tragic loss in Las Vegas, said email sent to the AEN London.
Rajan Zed said further that he was praying to God to provide the mourning families help and consolation in dealing with tragedy at this difficult time. He also expressed deep sympathies to their relatives and friends. It was heartbreaking for all of us, Zed added, saying that Hindus strongly condemn any and all acts of violence against innocent people.
We are saddened by the Sunday night tragedy of the horrific Las Vegas massacre and he added, that our hearts go out to the victims of their loved ones. It was senseless and shocking violence, said Zed, who is President of the Universal Society of Hinduism, stated in email.
