The World Economic Forum annual meeting began today in Davos reportedly with a special message from Pope Francis being read out there at the opening ceremony, WEF founder and Executive Chairman Klaus Schwab declared the the summit open, welcoming members from politics, business, academia, media as well as with all others including the first timers with a round of applause, said media news report.
Reportedly more than 3,000 world leaders from politics, business, academia, art and civil society would be participating in the summit.
