Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg says he wants to ensure protection of integrity of elections in India and other countries

In a joint hearing  of the US Senate Judiciary and Commerce committees, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg said, there are there several  important elections this year in countries like India, Hungary and Brazil and his company  wants to ensure the protection of the integrity of these elections.

Zuckerberg’s testimony comes amid a controversy over the alleged hijacking of data of millions of Facebook users  by British firm Cambridge Analytica.

Zuckerberg also promised to do more to tackle hate speech in Myanmar, when asked about Facebook’s alleged role in spreading hate content against Rohingya Muslims, according to media news report said.
