BRICS Summit in China Strongly Deplores Terrorism

BRICS summit held at Xiamen in China reportedly in its declaration has condemned terrorism in all its forms, including attacks in BRICS countries, media news reports said.

BRICS leaders also strongly deplored the latest nuclear test conducted by the North Korea.

In the Xiamen Declaration, deep concern was expressed over the ongoing tension and prolonged nuclear issue on the Korean Peninsuala, and emphasised that it should be settled only through peaceful means and direct dialogue of all parties concerned.

Reportedly BRICS also expressed concerned on security situation and violence caused by the Taliban, ISI or DAISH, Al-Qaida and its affiliates the Haqqani network, Pakistan based terrorist organisations Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammad and TTP, said media news reports.
